The Lord of the Rings Trilogy – Environment – Tower of Barad-dur

The Dark Tower looms over Mordor, an indomitable assurance of Saurons might, and upon its peak the mighty tyrants blazing eye sears the land with its burning gaze.

As the pitch black spire rises out of the barren lands, it serves as an ill portent for the inhabitants of Middle-earth, a symbol of the evil soon to come, and a place for Sauron to grow his army, bide his time, and further his search for the One Ring.
